The countdown has begun for South-London lads Tangerines debut album Into the Flophouse arriving May 12th on RIP Records. With less than a month to go, the band share the final teaser single '1945', which follows the brilliant 'Peckham Boys' and 'Long Way Home'. Recorded by Syd Kemp (Thurston Moore, Peluche) at RIP studios and mixed by prolific DIY producer MJ from Hookworms, '1945' is a breezy rock 'n' roll number with a snarl. Blending classic songwriting, think The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan, with a modern swagger and the occasional unusual sound effect, Tangerines are certainly ones to watch this summer.
